Hire Survivors Hollywood is working to end career retaliation against survivors of sexual violence in the entertainment industry by encouraging those in positions of power to pledge to Hire Survivors and Silence Breakers.

  • There are many survivors in the industry, but they are often blacklisted after speaking out.

  • The goal of Hire Survivors Hollywood is for those in positions of power to give a fair chance (auditions, meetings, interviews, opportunities) to those who have been marginalized. By doing so they create a safer, more equitable world; better representation and inclusivity on screen and behind the camera; and encourage those who have faced sexual violence to come forward without fear of damage to their careers.

  • —Established a 30 person advisory board to end retaliation against survivors in the entertainment industry

    — Created THE HIRE SURVIVORS HOLLYWOOD ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY TOOLKIT

    — Have gotten 60 people and companies to take their pledge

    — They've ensured dozens of survivors have had interviews, auditions, and jobs.
