National Crime Victim Bar Association
The National Crime Victim Bar Association, an affiliated program of the National Center for Victims of Crime, educates attorneys, victim service providers, and the general public on the availability and potential of civil legal remedies for crime victims; refers crime victims to qualified counsel; provides technical support to attorneys, particularly through its database, which contains more than 11,000 summaries of civil cases involving crime victims; and advocates through legislation and/or amicus curiae briefs.
Victim Rights Law Center
The Victim Rights Law Center is Leading a New Response to Sexual Violence. Founded as the first law center in the nation dedicated solely to serving the legal needs of sexual assault victims, the Victim Rights Law Center is the leader in representing sexual assault victims’ legal rights within the civil context. We not only provide legal representation to victims of rape and sexual assault to help rebuild their lives, but also promote a national movement committed to seeking justice for every rape and sexual assault victim.
Times Up Legal Defense Fund
The sexual harassment that has been reported in the last two years has been both horrific and illuminating. The TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund supports the brave individuals who have come forward, at great risk to themselves, to seek the justice they deserve and to protect others from similar behavior. This Fund helps workers connect with lawyers and bring cases of workplace sexual harassment and related retaliation — regardless of industry, rank or role. Workplace sexual harassment and retaliation have often gone unchecked; now is the time to finally stop both.
