Sochil Martin

Sochil Martin was born and raised in the megachurch, La Luz del Mundo. Starting at the  age of 9, she was groomed to serve the sexual desires of the church’s leader, who led  them to believe that doing so was a blessing.

Sochil channeled the strength to save herself and her family from the church after her  husband helped her understand that what she had gone through in her life was actually abuse and that she was actually in a cult. Now, Sochil and her family celebrate and document their freedom and healing journey, posting about all of the things they are doing  that the cult previously prohibited them from doing. She is an outspoken advocate for  survivors rights.
