PAVE/Survivors.org Has Partnered With RoommateAbuse.org

We here at PAVE/Survivors.org are so excited to wrap up Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a special announcement! PAVE/Survivors.org and RoommateAbuse.org have officially partnered.

RoommateAbuse.org is an organization that aims to raise awareness about abuse in platonic cohabitation relationships. Together, through this partnership, we strive to redefine domestic violence and advocate for a broader definition that includes roommate abuse in the conversation. We want to Shatter The Stigma around roommate abuse, as far too often these victim-survivors are dismissed. When we exclude roommate abuse from our definition of domestic violence, we also exclude them from accessing the resources they need to live a life free from violence– a life that everyone deserves, regardless of their relationship to the perpetrator.

This partnership brings our organizations together to better educate, advocate, and support all survivors of domestic violence.
